Bio

Why I chose Family Medicine: My love of Family Medicine is rooted in my desire to create long and impactful relationships with my patients. As a Family Medicine physician, I have the unique opportunity to treat patients of all ages, allowing for long-lasting physician-patient partnerships and the ability to actively assist patients in leading healthy lifestyles.

Why I chose the IU Family Medicine Residency Program: In choosing a residency program, I looked for a program that would enable me to have an exceptional foundation in all areas of Family Medicine, while also exploring my special interests in Sports Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. IU’s specialty tracks allow residents to customize their training and set them up for fellowships and enhanced clinical practice. I also loved my interview at IU; the faculty I met with were very enthusiastic about the program and creating an educational environment that would allow residents to thrive. After seeing the facilities and meeting some of the awesome residents, I knew IU had everything I was looking for in a residency, and I could not be happier to be a part of the IU Family Medicine family!

Interests and hobbies: In my free time, I enjoy running, biking, hiking, baking, attending concerts and musicals, and visiting National Parks.

Languages I speak fluently: English
