Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose Family Medicine because encompasses the necessary angles to take care of the family as a whole. This specialty allows you to provide medical consultation to every member of the family, therefore, solving their medical and social issues with a holistic approach. Academically Family Medicine offers a high quality medical training of every field in medicine allowing you to serve people from many  medical perspectives. Since my graduation year, I have worked providing medical consultation to children and adults, and for this and many other reasons I decided to pursue Family Medicine as my specialty of life.

Why I chose the IU Family Medicine Residency Program: There are endless reasons why I went for IU as my future home. The first time a set up a step at UI during the institutional visit day I knew this place was the place where a wanted to get my residency training, Faculty and residents treated me as their Family. IU offers many opportunities to get a holistic training. At IU you get in contact with many people from many countries, so the multicultural enrichment is a reality. I would like to serve as a bridge of communication between the multicultural community of Indianapolis and Indiana University School of Medicine.

Interests and hobbies: I love spending my free time at the gym, I love cooking Honduran food. I enjoy going to nice places to get some coffee or a good meal with my friends.

Languages I speak fluently: Spanish and English
