Bio

Why I chose Family Medicine:

I chose family medicine because I am passionate about practicing full spectrum healthcare! I want to treat individuals holistically with a focus on their mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, and intellectual health. I also love advocating for all patients throughout the different stages of their lives. During my clinical years of medical school, I found providing for children, adults, and the elder population to be equally inspiring. It was even more fulfilling to see families develop relationships with their family physicians that served as a conduit to better health.

Why I chose the IU Health Primary Care Central Indianapolis Family Medicine Residency Program:

IU Health and its affiliated hospitals have been a crucial part of my own health journey growing up in Indianapolis. After getting to see the family-like dynamic of the residents and faculty members, I had no doubts in it being the program for me and that I would gain the crucial skills needed to be a full-spectrum family physician. The program also treats a diverse population in regards to cultures, ethnicities, religions, and pathologies which provides another depth to the education provided.

Interests and hobbies:

My hobbies include cooking with my mom and sister, traveling with my husband, and spending time with my family in Indiana and Canada. I also have an interest in sewing and photography!
