Lindsey Burleson, MD

Dr. Lindsey Burleson was born and raised in Albemarle, North Carolina. She completed her undergraduate education at Western Carolina University where she played Division I college basketball (Go Cats!). Dr. Burleson then moved across the state to complete medical school at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. It was at Brody that she became passionate about working with rural, underserved communities in an academic setting. She has special clinical interests in women’s sexual function, pelvic floor disorders, and social determinants of health. She is very excited to move to the Midwest to begin her training at Indiana University! Outside of work, Dr. Burleson enjoys baking, sports, and exploring Indianapolis with her husband and new puppy.
