Bio

Dr. Jafri is faculty within the division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. She received her undergraduate from Pennsylvania State University and medical degree from the University of Florida. She completed her pediatric residency at University of Florida - Jacksonville, where she also distinguished herself as Chief Resident.
 Dr. Jafri is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is passionate about the care of newborn babies. She has previously run her own private practice and has a clinical focus on preventative care from birth to ensure children are provided with a solid foundation for a lifetime of health and success.
Outside of clinical care she is a wife and mother who enjoys soccer, board games and puzzles with her husband and 4 children,  as well as her hobbies of swimming and sewing. Dr. Jafri's life is a testament to her passion for medicine, her commitment to family, and her zest for a life filled with joy and purpose.
