Bio
I was born and raised in Egypt. As a child, I witnessed my mother battle breast cancer for years until she finally succumbed to her illness, That is why I became interested in studying medicine and oncology in particular, I studied medicine at the University of Alexandria in Egypt, and after graduation, I moved to the United States to complete graduate medical education in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein School of Medicine, Saint Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. I started my fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Midwestern University, Franciscan Health Olympia Fields. Midway through my training, I transferred to Indiana University to complete the remaining 18 months of my training, I am interested in General Oncology, and my passion is to bring high-quality cancer care to patients in their community and to help improve the quality of life of patients undergoing cancer treatment.
