Dr. Schwantes-An’s research focuses on understanding the genetic underpinnings of complex diseases such as substance use disorders and neuro-developmental/behavioral diseases. Dr. Schwantes-An is also interested in developing new statistical/analytical methods to identify genetic variants that are involved in diseases.
