Interests:  I'm primarily interested in inpatient, consultation-liaison, college mental health, and interventional psychiatry (TMS, ECT, etc.). Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and my three cats, Star Wars, video games, board games (and going to Gen Con when COVID allows), watching Disney movies, and going to musicals. 
Why I chose IU Psychiatry Residency:  I chose IU Psychiatry firstly because of the people. The program leadership are awesome and supportive (our program coordinator Jeanette is simply the best; better than aaalll the rest). The residents seemed like really fun people to work with, and after 3 years I can easily say I would choose to work with all of them again. The program itself is a good place to train because of its central position in the state capital. We see patients from all over the state in addition to those who live in Indy. This means that we get to see lots of bread and butter psychiatry in addition to plenty of complex cases as a tertiary referral center.
