Hospital chaplains focus on each patient’s preferred spiritual traditions, rituals and practices. Sondos Kholaki, a board-certified staff chaplain at Hoag Hospital in Irvine, California and Muslim chaplain at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, California, provides insight on spiritual care for Muslim patients.
