Why IU:  I was initially drawn to the large program size and family-like atmosphere and camaraderie of IU Med-Peds, as it felt like a place where I could easily fit in yet also develop my own identity. Additionally, I felt like the program offered an equally strong training and balance in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics that would allow me to develop in primary care, general hospitalist medicine, and subspecialty care. It features a strong stand-alone children's hospital as well as multiple IM training sites and hospitals with a variety of strengths and cultures.
