Why Emergency Medicine? I chose the EM/Pediatrics residency because it gives me the best of both worlds and allows me to care for and develop longitudinal relationships with pediatric patients while also treating both adults and children during times where they are most vulnerable in the ED. I love both the fast pace and (organized) chaos that is emergency medicine while also really enjoying being able to learn about the inpatient side of pediatric medicine.

Why did you choose the Indiana University School of Medicine Emergency Residency program? Both programs are strong independently and have a pretty seamless relationship. The faculty and my co-residents are supportive and I really enjoy the family feel at IU.

What are some of your personal interests? Love to cook, try new places to eat and travel! Also love hanging out at any lazy river or beach!
