Aneesha Kamath, MD

Aneesha Kamath is a dual internal medicine-pediatrics fellow studying infectious disease. She is a "lifer," having completed her undergraduate, medical school, and residency training through Indiana University. She chose to continue her training at IU based on her wonderful experiences as a resident with infectious disease faculty and fellows on both the adult and pediatric sides. Aneesha is passionate about global health and mitigating health disparities. She enjoys caring for the diverse population served by our fellowship program. Aneesha loves the mystery-solving aspect of infectious disease as well as the joy in medicine of helping patients feel better. Outside of the hospital, she likes spending time with her husband (a radiology resident), two cats, and dog as well as reading, eating ice cream, and traveling.
