The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine offers a two-year, Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Educational Programs (CAMPEP)-accredited diagnostic imaging physics residency. This program leverages the resources available from IU Health with one of the largest radiology training departments among medical schools in the United States.

Annually, two positions are open for the IU School of Medicine Diagnostic Imaging Physics residency. The program is offered in Indianapolis and participates in the Medical Physics Matching Program. Applications must be submitted through the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) Medical Physics Residency Application Program (apply MP-RAP). Applicants must have a PhD in Medical Physics or in a related field with demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic imaging medical physics.
