Pediatric Accelerator for Careers Engaged in Research

Pediatric Accelerator for Careers Engaged in Research (PACER) provides training and support for faculty who will engage in pediatrics focused health services research. PACER is part of the Division of Children's Health Services Research in the Department of Pediatrics. Support within PACER includes mentorship, grant writing support, project management and administrative oversight.

PACER was originally funded by a grant from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality to discover health-related issues important to children and caregivers, identifying best treatments that deliver optimal outcomes.
