The Transplant Nephrology Program at IU School of Medicine is a one-year program accredited by the American Society of Transplantation. IU Health Transplant is a high-volume center and performs approximately 275-290 kidney transplants a year, in addition to 30 pancreas transplants, 150 liver transplants as well as one the few centers in the country with intestinal transplants. There also is a robust Living Donor transplant program in addition to the Kidney Paired Exchange, a dedicated Transplant Infectious Diseases team and extensive exposure to all aspects of kidney and pancreas transplantation.
