Interviews

Plans for 2020-2021 will be based on national guidelines and will include everything possible to show the Department of Pediatrics' and Department of Medical Genetics’ pride in students, faculty, staff, patients and facilities at IU through a virtual visit.

Scheduling

  • Applicants should submit their application through ERAS as soon as possible to allow plenty of time for the program admissions team to review the files and have ample time to schedule the interview as interview dates are limited.
  • There is no need to contact the program office regarding the status of an application. All interview invitations will be sent electronically.

International Students

  • Indiana University School of Medicine only sponsors J1 visas
  • Preference for graduates less than three-five years out of medical school
  • ECFMG is required at time of interview
  • Strong U.S. clinical experience within the past year. This experience does not have to be at Indiana University
  • Visiting rotations are limited for 2020-2021
