Bio
I am a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist with expertise in structural and functional MRI research, and over 20 years of experience conducting neurocognitive and neuroimaging studies in pediatric and adult neuropsychiatric populations. I also maintain an active clinical neuropsychology practice, and have extensive experience in mentoring pre-and post-doctoral trainees in both clinical and research contexts. I have overseen cognitive and imaging data analysis and/or served as PI or site PI for multiple NIH-and foundation-funded studies, including pharmacological challenge protocols, clinical trials, and observational studies in children and adults. My program of funded research includes studies of adult and pediatric populations. Pediatric-focused studies include children and adolescents who have experienced mild traumatic brain injury/concussion, those who have undergone leukemia chemotherapy, and those with temporal lobe epilepsy, as well as studies of healthy brain function. Adult-focused studies include cognitive disorders of aging, cognitive effects of cancer and its treatment, and traumatic brain injury.
