Bio
I am a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist with expertise in structural and functional MRI research, and over 15 years of experience conducting neurocognitive and neuroimaging studies in pediatric and adult neuropsychiatric populations. I also maintain an active clinical neuropsychology practice, and have extensive experience in mentoring pre-and post-doctoral trainees in both clinical and research contexts. I have overseen cognitive and imaging data analysis and/or served as PI or site PI for multiple NIH-and foundation-funded studies, including pharmacological challenge protocols, clinical trials, and observational studies in children and adults. My program of funded research focuses on pediatric neuropsychiatric populations, including studies of children and adolescents who have experienced mild traumatic brain injury/concussion, those who have undergone leukemia chemotherapy, and those with temporal lobe epilepsy, as well as studies of healthy brain function. I am also a coinvestigator with colleagues on projects studying adult neuropsychiatric populations, including cognitive disorders of aging, cognitive effects of cancer and its treatment, and traumatic brain injury.
