Sunny Y. Lai, MD

I moved frequently during my childhood but settled in Texas for my adult life prior to fellowship, earning my college degree at the University of Texas Austin and completing medical school and internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern. Feeling the need to go somewhere new, I came to Indiana University for its reputation as a cancer center and varied practice settings. My goal is to remain in academic medicine, where I plan to be involved with medical education, clinical research, and care for the underserved. My current interests in the field are malignant hematology and HIV-related malignancies.
