Adrian B. Singson, MD

I am the Program Director of the Southwest Indiana Internal Medicine Residency Program. I have been involved in Graduate Medical Education since 2014. It is my passion and my privilege to educate and train future generations of physicians and medical students. I began my GME career after graduating residency at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital as a Chief Resident. I stayed at Ball as core faculty, where I served as the Medical Director of the residency clinic, the Chairperson of the Internal Medicine Residency Program Clinical Competency Committee, and eventually the Senior Associate Program Director. In addition to my responsibilities to residents, I also held the rank of Adjunct Professor of Clinical Medicine and a Master Clinician teaching the Foundations of Clinical Practice course to medical students.

Prior to becoming the Program Director of the Southwest Indiana Internal Medicine Residency Program, I also served the program as the Chairperson of the Program Evaluation Committee and one of the program’s two Site Directors. My time within the program has also afforded me the opportunity to become involved in the Alliance of Independent Academic Medical Centers through their National Initiatives, which engenders innovative educational solutions that drive clinical outcomes. I am proud to have worked alongside residents in their scholarly activity and presentations for the last two years in the National Initiatives.

Beyond my professional and career interests in medical education, I have a personal interest in wilderness medicine and have given multiple morning reports, noon conferences, and Grand Rounds on the topic. Outside of Internal Medicine, I am an amateur outdoorsman, an avid martial artist with more than thirty years of experience, and a Parkour athlete with more than a decade of experience who has had the opportunity to train with the international Parkour communities in France and the United Kingdom.
