Bio

Victoria Miller, MD, specializes in treating uveitis, a rare and complicated eye disease that causes inflammation in the eye. Often, uveitis is triggered by an autoimmune or inflammatory disease, meaning the condition is chronic.

Miller takes great care in helping patients preserve their sight and prevent blindness. Miller attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati.
She became interested in treating uveitis during her ophthalmology residency at the University of Colorado, where a mentor in the field encouraged her to pursue this unique area of eye care. She continued her education with a uveitis-related fellowship at Northwestern University.

A native Hoosier, Miller is glad to be back in Indiana practicing medicine and helping teach a new generation of ophthalmologists about uveitis. She’s eager to teach residents and fellows the importance of early intervention as well as compassionate care of this long-term, often challenging disease.

Miller followed in her father’s footsteps to become a physician. She decided in medical school to pursue eye care after meeting and interacting with passionate ophthalmologists. “I wanted to become a surgeon and sort of fell in love with ophthalmology,” she said. “Everyone in ophthalmology was extremely positive about their specialty. They loved what they were doing. They loved working with patients and helping them maximize their vision.”
