Bio

Dr. Janelle Nassim is a Harvard trained dermatologist specializing in general and medical dermatology, with interests in acne, nail disorders, lasers, and cosmetic dermatology. She graduated magna cum laude from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL, where she competed for four years as an NCAA Division I swimmer. She continued her education at the FAU Schmidt College of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honors Societies.

She completed her internship in Boston, MA in internal medicine at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and her residency in the Harvard Dermatology Program, training at Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Boston Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Nassim also has a special interest in advocating and caring for patients with disabilities, and has published and presented work on this topic internationally.

She is passionate about taking a whole-person approach to skin health and aging, and believes that helping her patients prevent, manage, and treat skin disease contributes to improving confidence and quality of life. She strives to provide patients with personalized and evidence-based treatments for cutaneous disease, and to educate patients to increase understanding of their skin health and treatment plan.
