Bio

Baruch Meer, DO, is an emergency radiologist and has been a member of the Department of Radiology and Imaging faculty since 2020. He earned a Bachelor of Psychology degree in 2009 from Touro College in New York City. He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2013 from the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed one year of medical internship and radiology residency at Meadowlands Medical Center, Secaucus, NY. Dr. Meer then completed his radiology residency in 2018 at Norwalk/Yale University Hospital, Norwalk, CT followed by his musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at UC Irvine Medical Center, Irvine, CA.

Before becoming a physician, Dr. Meer received his Doctorate of Rabbinical Ordination from the Rabbinical College of Sydney in Sydney, Australia. While in Sydney, he was a manager and team leader at the Orthodox Union. He was also a lecturer and director of Youth Activities. Additionally, he was the program organizer at Camp Tzivos Hashem in the Ukraine. Upon returning to the United States, Dr. Meer was a Gift of Life – Bone Marrow Foundation organizer in New York City.
