Bio
Dr. Jason Espinoza grew up in Phoenix, AZ before attending medical school at the University of Chicago. He went on to complete his pediatric residency, as well as chief residency at the University of Washington/Seattle Children’s Hospital. He returned to Chicago to complete fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago before starting at IU/Riley Children’s. His academic interests lie in understanding how factors related to social determinants of health affect patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. He is also interested in both medical student and resident education, curriculum development, and mentorship in academic medical training.
