Bio
Dr. Li received her B.S. in Plant Genetics from Sichuan University, China, in 1983 and PhD in Molecular Genetics from University of Minnesota in 1992. She did her postdoctoral trainings in Virology and Immunology at the Biomedical Research Institute of Children’s Hospital of St. Paul from 1992-1994, University of Minnesota from 1994-1998, and Indiana University from 2003 to 2005. She became a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology in 2005. Her research interests include T cell biology (development, differentiation, and tolerance) and human and mouse immune responses in infectious and inflammatory diseases. To date, she has published 34 scientific papers.
