Bio

Dr. Shaohui Liu is a board certified ophthalmologist and corneal specialist. She obtained her medical degree and PhD degree from Medical College of Qingdao University in China.  She further pursued postdoctoral research fellowship at the Schepens Eye Research Institute, Harvard Medical School. She made significant achievements in research including a patent for dry eye syndrome which was licensed to a major pharmaceutical company.

She completed her ophthalmology residency training in Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, followed by clinical fellowship in Cornea, Refractive Surgery and External Disease at the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School.
