Steven L. Price, MD

Dr. Steve Price was born in Indianapolis on the IU medical campus in what is now Coleman Hall.  After high school he attended Johnson University in Knoxville, Tennessee and graduated with a degree in music. After several years of touring with a Christian rock band, he decided to pursue a lifelong dream of pursuing a career in medicine. He attended the University of Cincinnati for pre-medical studies and worked in research labs in the department of surgery at UC and later at the Herman B Wells center for pediatric research at Riley Hospital.  He then attended the IU School of Medicine, graduating in 1997.  After medical school, he completed residency in Internal Medicine at IU Health, Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN.   Since residency Dr. Price has spent most of his career in the practice of Emergency Medicine and Occupational Medicine practicing at Bluffton Regional Medical Center in Bluffton, Indiana, Parkview Hospital and at the VA, Fort Wayne.  In 2017 he accepted the position of director of the Indiana Health Centers for General Motors Corporation.  Dr. Price and his wife Beth have 4 children and live in Fort Wayne. He stills plays music in a local Ft. Wayne band and enjoys time spent with family.
