Bio
Dr. Lauren Falvo joined IUEM as a faculty member in 2020. She graduated from University of Kentucky School of Medicine in 2016, and from Indiana University School of Medicine’s Emergency Medicine residency in 2019. She completed her fellowship in Medical Simulation in June 2020, and currently serves as fellowship director and faculty in the simulation medicine division. Her clinical interests include patient-physician and interprofessional communication, patient safety, and medical education. Her research focuses on simulation medicine with emphasis on communication, most recently regarding medical error disclosure. Outside of the department, Lauren enjoys spending time with her dogs, musical theatre, and exploring new restaurants.
Fun Fact: I once won $100 for eating 17.5 Krispy Kreme donuts in 8 minutes. My parents were very proud.
