Bio

Dr. Saeed completed her medical school as the class valedictorian at the Aga Khan University, Pakistan. She joined as faculty in 2019 after finishing her Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship training at Indiana University. She is passionate about medical education and is one of the Key Clinical Educators (KCE) in the division. She is also the associate clerkship director for the Internal Medicine Phase 2 Clerkship for the IU School of Medicine. Her research interests are diabetes and medical education. She is currently the Site PI for NOD and DETECT studies – NIH studies investigating the relationship between diabetes and pancreatic cancer. She is also engaged in other studies including the PROMINENT clinical trial at the VA and RADIANT study. Her main clinical interests include diabetes and endocrine hypertension.
