Bio
Aimee Patel, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and 2016 graduate of the Indiana University Psychiatry Residency Program.
Dr. Patel grew up in Indianapolis. She attended college at the University of Notre Dame and medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She is currently the Training Director of the Psychiatry Residency Program. Dr. Patel cares for patients on the inpatient unit and ECT service at Methodist Hospital. All PGY-1 residents work with Dr. Patel during their first year of training. Dr. Patel is particularly interested in emergency psychiatry. When not at work she enjoys traveling, running, reading and spending time with her dog, Hugo.
