Bio

Dr. Nancy B. Johnson M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine.  Dr. Johnson received both her bachelor's and MD degrees with highest distinction from the University of Michigan. She completed her pediatric internship at Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, and her pediatric residency at Riley Children's Hospital at Indiana University and was the first physician to complete a Pediatric Endocrine fellowship there.  She then joined the faculty at Indiana University.  Dr. Johnson holds membership in numerous professional societies.  Clinical interests include intensive management of type 1 diabetes and she holds monthly clinics in South Bend, IN to better serve the Northwest Indiana patient population.

She has a specific interest in Prader-Willi syndrome and is the director of the RIley PWS clinic and is dedicated to local and national advocacy for PWS patients and their famililes.

    Dr. Johnson sees patients at the two locations noted.  She sees patients with  general pediatric endocrine issues.  She has a special interest in intensive management of Type 1 diabetes.

    Dr. Johnson is the director of the Riley Prader-Willi syndrome clinic which is dedicated to comprehensive care of patients with this disorder.
