Bio

My primary focus is psychology education.  As director of the Internship Program in Clinical Psychology, I am committed to working with my colleagues to provide the highest quality training experience for our next generation of psychologists.   My clinical and clinical teaching efforts include the broad areas of child and pediatric psychology, but as co-chief of the Tics, Anxiety and Compulsions clinic (TAC clinic) and Mood Disorders Clinic, both within the Riley Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic, I spend a significant amount of time working with those subpopulations.  I supervise multiple weekly training clinics in which child psychiatry fellows, psychology post-doctoral fellows, interns and practicum learn to implement evidence-based interventions with children, adolescents and their families.  Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors hiking, camping, running, and gardening, finding great new restaurants, and traveling.  I’m a mentor with the Starfish Initiative and have recently started taking glassblowing classes.
