Bio

Matt is a native of Pennsylvania.  He graduated from Philadelphia College of Science and Pharmacy with a B.S. degree in 1992.  He worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Eli Lilly and Company and as  a home infusion pharmacist prior to returning to medical school  in 1994.  Upon graduating from MCP-Hahnemann School of Medicine in 1999, he and Erica, his wife, headed to Indianapolis for what they thought was a five year stay.  After finishing the Combined EM-Peds residency in 2004, Matt worked for five years in community emergency medicine.  In April 2009, he returned to the residency as full-time faculty.  He works at Eskenazi Hospital ED.

When away from the hospital, Matt enjoys a variety of outdoor activities with Erica and their son, Ian.
