Bio
I am a board certified General Pediatrician practicing Pediatric Hospital Medicine. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Evansville and graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry. I completed Medical School at Indiana University and then did my Pediatric Residency at Riley Hospital. After Residency, I worked in a hospital owned Primary care office for 6 years, where I enjoyed both inpatient and outpatient medicine. At that time, I made the decision to return to academic medicine to pursue my love of teaching. As an Associate Residency Program Director, I am able to work closely with the Pediatric Residents and indulge my passion for education. In addition I work on Quality Improvement initiatives mostly related to infant mortality and safe sleep. I have had the opportunity to work with the Indiana Perinatal Quality Improvement Committee and the Indiana American Academy of Pediatrics on this important topic.
